PLEASE READ
In order to keep seasonal rates as low as possible, the rates are based on
the minimum, rather than the maximum expected usage. This means usage by ONE
FAMILY ONLY, husband, wife, and their dependant children.
The rate for the 2008 camping season for site #95 is $1,350.00+ $74.25 tax.
The rate does include winter storage for the preceding winter. Contracts will be
mailed each year in September and are to be returned with your deposit for the
following year by September 20.
To hold your requested site for 2008, a non-refundable deposit of $225.00 is
due on September 20, 2007. Sites without deposits will be released by
September 21, 2007. All site cancellations are to be submitted in writing
prior to September 20, 2006. The remaining balance due will be made in two
payments the following year for the season as follows: January 15th, 2008 of
$599.63 and March 1st, 2008 of $599.62. It is understood that the seasonal site
fee must be paid prior to setting up for the season. The seasonal site fee is
not transferable and nonrefundable. Seasonal site holders may not rent out their
site. (PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO RECYCLING CHARGES AND GOVERNMENT
IMPOSED TAXES).
Seasonal fees are based on one family, which includes one couple and their
unmarried dependant children. Married children are considered a separate family
and are subject to an additional fee. The
seasonal fee
includes up to 63 days total occupancy. Seasonal campers exceeding this will be
subject to an additional charge. Our season starts May 1st and ends October
13th. Seasonal campers are permitted to arrive one weekend prior to opening and
depart one weekend after closing but the water will not be on and the bathrooms
will not be open. Seasonal sites can not be rented out. If your unit will be off
site during the camping season, the departure and return dates must be given to
Door County Camping Retreat.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Overnight adult guests are charged $5.00 per evening. Overnight child guests
are charged $1.50 per evening. Day guests are not allowed in the park. prior to
8:00 a.m., and must leave at 10:00 p.m. Seasonal campers are responsible for
their guests actions. All guests must register at the office prior to entering
the park. Guests who have not registered will be billed to seasonal site
holder at twice the above rate. Frequent guests may be registered to your
site at a rate of $25 per year. The Facility Usage fee will be based on site
utilization over 64 days per year, plus campground energy usage. This
will be billed twice per year. Pump outs are $10 for tanks under 150 gallons,
and $15 for tanks over 150 gallons. We require 24 hours notice prior to when
a pump out is needed to be done. Pump outs are to be requested at the office
and are to be paid for in advance. The designated days for pump outs are Mondays
and Thursdays , however, during the off season which is prior to Memorial Day
weekend and after Labor Day weekend, please check with the office for
availability. Pump outs will only be done on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when
an emergency occurs, and will be charged $20 plus tax. All seasonal campers
agree to comply with all state, county, local health, zoning and Door County
Camping Retreat rules. Any seasonal who fails to do so will result in the
termination of their seasonal contract. Any fines or penalties assessed against
this campground will become the responsibility of that seasonal. Each seasonal
camper is responsible and liable for the actions of their minor children and
guests. Minors are not permitted to camp without parents or suitable guardians.
Seasonal campers agree to carry their own liability and personal property
insurance to protect against theft, fire, windstorm, snowstorm, hail, power
outages, and vandalism. Seasonal contract holders agree
to
assume total responsibility for any damage to their camper during winter
storage. As renters of space, the lessee hereby releases
lessor from any and all liability. As renters of space, seasonal contract
holders may not sell their site when they sell their camper. All site
assignments are administered by Door County Camping Retreat. If you wish to list
your camper for sale on the site, any inquiries regarding the site are to be
directed to the campground office. Please remember, it is your trailer but it is
our property,
Campsites are to remain completely natural. No sheds, storage units, and
additional refrigerators, including indoor as well as outdoor refrigerators. No
nails driven into trees and lighting is to be kept to a minimum. Low voltage
lighting is acceptable. Lighting is not to be on a sensor. Lighting on timers is
permitted, however, lights on timers are to be set from dusk to no later than
1:00 a.m. Yard ornaments are to be kept to a minimum and are to be in good
taste. Rainbow Recreation, LLC., D/B/A DOOR COUNTY CAMPING RETREAT, THE
MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCIDENTS, INJURIES OR
LOSS FROM ANY CAUSE. Accounts more than 30 days past due will charged interest
at 1% per month, and access to the park will be revoked until the account is
current.
Your signature on this agreement indicates that you have received a copy of
this lease and have received, read and agree to comply to Door County Camping
Retreats rules, policies, Door County's seasonal and zoning ordinances and
Wisconsin state health ordinances. Failure to comply with this contract may
result in revocation of camping privileges, and removal of your unit to offsite
storage with additional storage and spotting fees assessed.
